These Terms & Conditions outline the way coaching and group sessions are offered through Tony Carter Real Talk Coaching & Support. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.
- Nature of Coaching
- Coaching is a collaborative, goal-focused process designed to support personal growth, learning, and self-understanding.
- Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. It does not replace professional advice from qualified medical or mental health practitioners.
- Sessions may include practical tools, reflection, and guidance, but you are the expert in your own life.
- Session Structure & Communication
- 1:1 coaching session duration is normally 60 minutes.
- Group sessions or any other services will be individually discussed before commencement.
- Email or messaging check-ins between sessions may be provided for practical support. These are for coaching purposes only; personal or emergency support will not be provided and anybody that feels like they are in crisis should immediately seek help from (UK) 101 line 2, 999 or their GP.
- Any guidance given in sessions should be considered general coaching support.
- Fees & Payment
- Fees for 1:1 coaching and any other service will be fully discussed before the coaching / services are due to commence.
- Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a 1:1 session.
- Sessions cancelled without notice may still incur a fee.
- Group session attendance policies will be communicated at the time of registration.
- Confidentiality & Data Protection
- All personal information and coaching discussions are treated confidentially and in line with data protection laws.
- Group sessions are safe spaces, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed between participants.
- Liability
- Tony Carter is not liable for decisions or actions taken as a result of coaching.
- Coaching involves personal reflection and growth; you engage with sessions at your own discretion.
- Ethical Practice
- All services are offered in line with theAssociation for Coaching global code of ethics.
- Boundaries, consent, and neurodivergent-affirming practices are central to every session.
- Agreement
- By booking a session or registering for a group or any other service offered, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this site.

The ‘Meet Our Dave’ system is a unique approach to coaching that uses the archetype of Dave to help clients relate to common challenges. Dave represents the typical client profile, and through this system, I provide practical tools and strategies tailored to your needs.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No, coaching is not the same as therapy. My coaching services focus on providing practical support and strategies for personal development and overcoming everyday challenges. I do not offer therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice.
What should I do if I need immediate help?
If you are in immediate need of help, please contact emergency services such as 999, A&E, NHS 111, or reach out to Samaritans at 116 123. Our services are not designed for crisis intervention.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session by contacting us directly via email or phone. I prefer us to have contact and the chance to engage before a session is booked.
Can I cancel or reschedule a session?
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice. Please contact me directly to make any changes to your scheduled appointments.
What are the payment options?
I accept payments via bank transfer. Detailed payment instructions will be provided upon booking your session.
Are there any confidentiality agreements?

What if I relate to ADHD traits?
My coaching is designed to support individuals who may relate to ADHD traits. I have ADHD and lived with ADHD traits for 40 plus years I provide practical tools and strategies but am not offer medical advice or diagnosis.
